Attorney Geoff Newman has been practicing criminal law in the Inland Empire for over 12 years. He has appeared before all of the courts in San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and almost all of Los Angeles County. Mr. Newman handles all types of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors, serious felonies, and complex conspiracy cases.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Newman worked as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Bernardino. While employed as a prosecutor, he handled all types of cases. It is this experience that has allowed him to understand all aspects of a criminal case. While every case is different from the next, a complete understanding of the criminal justice system is imperative to obtaining a successful resolution.
Mr. Newman prides himself in maintaining a manageable case load that allows him and his staff to constantly keep clients informed of the status of their case. Clients are encouraged to bring all of their questions to Mr. Newman so that he may take the time to explain all aspects of the case against them. A client must understand everything about their case if they are expected to make good decisions.
James D. Madden

Quite often criminal cases can overlap into areas of Civil Litigation, especially Family Law. Whenever the need for an attorney in those areas arises, we contract with attorney James D. Madden. Mr. Madden has proven to be a champion strategist and has had tremendous success weaving our criminal litigation into both family law and civil cases. He has also successfully defended the professional licenses of our clients when necessary. When defending a criminal case, it is not unusual to have collateral issues arise that require the attention of a skilled civil litigator. Ron Forbush

Our in-house investigator has worked on some of the biggest cases in San Bernardino County over the past 25 years. When he retired from law enforcement he was serving as the Lieutenant of Homicide for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Since that time he has served as the lead defense investigator on almost two dozen death penalty and special circumstances murder cases. Mr. Forbush is skilled at assisting the criminal defense lawyer in all aspects of the case. His strong work ethic and body of knowledge in the area of crime scene investigation continuously benefits our clients. In the past, he has testified as an expert on crime scene investigation and firearms. Mr. Forbush has extensive training in law enforcement practices and procedures, including interrogations and forensic evidence. Mr. Forbush is an integral part of the criminal defense team and his services are invaluable.
